## Description

Deskhop is a block theme for coworking networks, city workspace guides, remote-worker communities and meeting-room finders. It is dark by default, with modular bento tiles, glass panels with light edges, mono labels and a signal-orange accent, and a Daylight scheme one click away.

Built in, no other plugins needed (Secure Custom Fields is recommended for editing the space details):

* Spaces with kinds, cities and perks (icons), opening hours with a live "open now" status that stays correct on cached pages, day-pass prices, plans, galleries, maps and contact buttons.
* Search and filters: keyword, kind, city, perks, price, open now, verified, and sort orders such as "Day pass: lowest first".
* A space page with the drop-in price set large, workspace stat tiles (Wi-Fi speed, desks, meeting rooms, phone booths), plans as pricing cards, perks as an icon grid, a sticky hours card, a meeting-room booking request, community events and similar spaces.
* Community events (workshops, meetups) with date tiles, soonest first.
* 33 block patterns: five heroes (bento search, day-pass price board, city marquee, background video with a pause button, "Book a tour" form), kinds bento, cities, featured spaces, workspace of the month, open right now, perks, plans, stats, testimonials, FAQ, forms, galleries, video and five full pages.
* Forms with no plugin: contact, newsletter, tour request and meeting-room request; messages are stored under Messages and emailed.
* Masonry and carousel galleries with a lightbox, entrance animations, a light/dark toggle and four style variations: Daylight, Terminal green, Blueprint and Concrete.
* A demo import (Appearance → Import demo): nine spaces in Lisbon, Tallinn and Valencia, two events and five pages.

## Frequently Asked Questions

#### Where do form messages go?

Every form submission is stored under Messages in the dashboard and emailed to the site's admin address. Change the recipient in the Messages settings, or per form in the block settings. Booking requests from a space page also go to that space's "Also email inquiries to" address.

#### How do I add Wi-Fi speeds and desk counts?

Edit a space and fill in the "Workspace stats" box (Secure Custom Fields). Tiles without a value are left out.

#### How does "open now" work?

Add opening hours to a space. The status is worked out in the visitor's browser every minute in the site's time zone, so it stays right on cached pages. Spaces open around the clock use the "Always open" hours mode.

#### How do I switch off the animations or the dark scheme?

Animations respect the visitor's "reduce motion" setting. The color scheme toggle in the header remembers the visitor's choice; Deskhop opens in its dark scheme unless a light style variation (Daylight) is chosen.
