Overview
A light, playful block theme for gaming communities, clans, Discord servers, community cups and streamer collectives.
Guildhall is a neo-brutal arcade theme: warm paper with a dotted grid, ink outlines, hard offset shadows, chunky rounded corners, flat tomato, sunflower and mint fills, pixel headlines and sticker badges that wiggle once when they scroll into view. It is built for communities rather than pro teams: clans and guilds, Discord servers, amateur leagues, LAN groups and creators streaming under one banner.
Everything works without extra plugins except the free Secure Custom Fields, which stores the gaming details (the theme offers a one-click install):
- Members, squads, community games and cups, each with its own designed pages and archives, plus a page per game.
- A bento home hero with the Discord button, the next community game, the stream, members and the games you play.
- Four more heroes: a sticker wall, a stream hub, a community cup poster with a countdown and a ladder leaderboard.
- Live status: a blinking live sticker in the header, live banners and scoreboards that switch to live on their own.
- Community cup schedule with filters, a cup sign-up form, a clan ladder table with medal stickers, a member wall, a weekly stream schedule, a code of conduct and FAQ accordions, partners and an event gallery.
- Stream and video players that load only after a click: nothing is requested from Twitch, YouTube or Kick before that.
- Forms (contact, cup sign-up, newsletter) that store messages under Messages and email them if you want.
- Galleries in masonry and carousel styles with a lightbox, featured videos, reading progress, table of contents and share links.
- A light scheme and the "Night raid" dark scheme with a toggle in the header, and four style variations: Night raid, Arcade, Moss and Mono.
- 31 patterns (heroes, community sections, media, forms, calls to action and five full pages) and templates for landing pages, wide pages and event nights.
- Appearance → Import demo installs a complete community (members, squads, games, cups, news and pages) in one click.
Questions
Where do form messages go?
Every form stores what visitors send under Messages in the dashboard. Email notifications go to the address set in Messages → Settings (the site admin email by default). To send one form somewhere else, select it in the editor and set its recipients.
How do I add members, squads, games and cups?
Install and activate Secure Custom Fields when the theme asks, then use the Gaming menu in the dashboard. Members (players, streamers, coaches) belong to squads; community games belong to a game and, optionally, a cup.
How does the stream player work?
Set the main channel under Gaming → Community & sponsors, or a stream link on a member or game. The player shows a poster and a play button; the Twitch, YouTube or Kick player loads only after a visitor clicks it.
Can I turn off the animations?
Visitors who ask their system for reduced motion get no animations. To remove one from a block, open its Motion panel in the editor and choose None.
How does dark mode work?
The sun and moon button in the header switches between the light paper scheme and the Night raid scheme and remembers the choice. To make the dark scheme the default, pick the Night raid style variation in the Site Editor.
