Overview
A Swiss-grid block theme for city apartment agencies: hairline grids, bento heroes, mono figures, one signal yellow.
Loftline is made for urban agencies that list apartments, lofts and new rentals in city neighbourhoods. Concrete grey and ink black with a single signal yellow, visible 1px grid lines, square corners and monospace figures (reference, m², price per m²) give every page the clarity of a well-set timetable.
Built in, no plugins needed for the design:
- Properties and agents (the Symelo real estate foundation): prices per sale or period, facts, galleries, floor plans, virtual tours, maps (OpenStreetMap after a click), energy ratings, brochures and a mortgage calculator.
- A dense listing index: on wide screens every home is one row with the photo, mono bedrooms, bathrooms and area in columns and the price with its price per m²; on phones the same listings become cards.
- Property pages with a price box, a bento strip of key facts, a ruled spec sheet, a sticky "Book a viewing" panel (viewing request or booking form, sent to the listing agent) and similar homes.
- Five hero layouts: bento with search, giant type with a photo cut-out, a neighbourhood marquee over the filtered index, a full-bleed photo with a data panel, and a metro line whose stations open each neighbourhood.
- A neighbourhood guide (location tiles with walking times), a giant neighbourhood marquee, agents with square monograms, a numbered process, testimonials, questions, galleries (masonry and carousel with a lightbox), forms (contact, viewing request, valuation, new-listing alerts) and complete pages (home, about, contact, neighbourhoods).
- Light and dark schemes with a toggle (following the system by default) and four style variations: Night shift (dark), Blueprint (white on drafting blue), Terracotta (warm clay) and Mono (pure black and white).
- Entrance motion and counters that respect reduced-motion settings; nothing is hidden without JavaScript.
Secure Custom Fields (free) is recommended for editing property and agent details; the theme offers to install it. Appearance → Import demo adds the demo agency (ten listings around Lisbon, three agents, pages and a menu).
Questions
Where do form messages go?
Every form (contact, viewing requests, valuation, alerts and the property forms) stores its messages under Messages in the dashboard and emails them. Property inquiries go to the listing agent's email; set the other recipients under Messages → Settings, or per form in the editor.
How is the price per m² shown?
Listings for sale with a living area get a mono line under the price (price ÷ area, in the site's currency and area unit). Rentals and "price on request" listings don't show it.
How do I add a featured video to a property?
Edit the property and use the Featured video panel in the sidebar (a YouTube or Vimeo address, or a video file). It shows in the description column of the property page.
Can I turn off the animations?
Visitors who ask their system for reduced motion see no movement. To remove an animation for everyone, select the block and clear its Motion setting.
How does dark mode work?
The switch in the header changes between the light and the dark scheme and remembers the choice; without a choice the site follows the visitor's system. Each style variation brings its own dark palette; Night shift and Blueprint are dark themselves and hide the switch.
