## Description

Mokara dresses a WooCommerce store like a small roastery: kraft-paper backgrounds, espresso ink, stamped badges, dashed tear lines and product photos on paper tiles. It suits coffee roasters, bakeries, tea, chocolate and olive-oil sellers, and any shop that sells things you eat or drink.

* **Store templates:** a product page with a square photo grid and a sticky label (stamp badges, origin line, price, highlights, add to cart, fresh-roast delivery note, then Tasting notes, Ingredients and Brewing and storage), a catalog with filters on a kraft panel and sorting, product search, cart, checkout and a mini-cart drawer with the free-shipping threshold.
* **Product extras:** badges (Single origin, Decaf, Organic… plus automatic New, Sale, Sold out and low stock), highlights, specifications shown as tasting notes, ingredients, brewing and storage, and a product video. They use the free Secure Custom Fields plugin, which the theme offers to install.
* **Store extras:** announcement bar, selling points, trust badges, shipping and returns, free-shipping threshold, all under Products → Store extras.
* **Patterns:** five heroes (label hero, roastery film, origins strip with altitudes, coffee club subscription, newest brew guide), new roasts carousel, tasting-notes cards, pantry category tiles, brew guide steps, market-day hours, wholesale call to action and request form, roast calendar signup, galleries, films, questions, footers and complete pages (home, about, contact, wholesale, coffee club landing).
* **Templates:** journal, story, a Brew guide template with a sticky label of steps, archive, search, 404, Landing page and Wide page.
* **Demo store:** Appearance → Import demo creates products, categories, badges, Home, About, Contact and Shipping pages, the menu and the store extras, and removes them again with one click.
* **Built in, no extra plugins:** forms with a Messages screen, galleries with lightbox and carousel, click-to-load video, motion, light and dark color schemes with a switch, four style variations (Espresso, Matcha, Oat, Market).

## Frequently Asked Questions

#### Do I need WooCommerce?

Yes, Mokara is a store theme. Without WooCommerce your posts and pages still work, and the dashboard links to the WooCommerce installer.

#### How do I show tasting notes, ingredients and brewing tips?

Fill in the Product extras box on each product (with Secure Custom Fields active): Specifications become the Tasting notes (for example Origin, Process, Roast, Notes), Materials become Ingredients and Care becomes Brewing and storage. A Shipping note replaces the store's delivery line on that product, for example "Roasted to order, ships on Wednesday".

#### Where do form messages go?

Every form submission is saved under Messages in the dashboard and, unless the form says otherwise, emailed to the address in Messages → Settings (the site's admin email by default). The roast calendar and newsletter forms only store the address. To send a form's messages elsewhere, select the form in the editor and fill in "Send to".

#### How do I add a product or post video?

Paste a YouTube, Vimeo or video file link in the Featured video panel of a post, or in Product extras → Video. YouTube and Vimeo load only when a visitor presses play.

#### Can I turn off the animations or dark mode?

Animations stop for visitors who prefer reduced motion, and the roastery film doesn't play for them. Dark mode follows the visitor's system setting until they use the switch in the header; choose a style variation in Appearance → Editor → Styles to change the default (Espresso starts dark).
