## Description

Nordform is a block theme for furniture makers, lighting and décor shops. Off-white, oak and charcoal, full-bleed room scenes, generous whitespace and small, careful type. Dimensions are shown everywhere: on product pages, in drawings around your pieces and in measured spec sheets.

Built in, no extra plugins needed (WooCommerce runs the store; Secure Custom Fields is offered for the product extras):

* A designed store home: a room hero with a frosted caption card, selling points, room categories, shop the room, new arrivals, a materials library, customer notes, the journal and a newsletter.
* Product pages with stacked photos and a sticky summary: badges, subtitle, highlights, add to cart, the lead time and delivery line, a dimensions sheet (width, depth, height, seat height) and details in an accordion with reviews.
* A shop with a horizontal filter bar above a three-column grid, and product cards with the name and price on one line and a second photo on hover.
* Five heroes (room scene, a background film of three rooms, a 7/5 split with a materials list, a dimension drawing, the latest story), shop-the-room, lead times, a materials library, galleries (masonry and carousel with a lightbox), film sections, forms (contact, newsletter, a trade request for interior designers), testimonials, questions, numbers, a makers marquee and full page layouts (home, about, contact, trade, rooms).
* Templates: blog (journal), story, page, archive, search, 404, shop, product, product search, landing page, wide page and a room story with a full-screen photo header.
* Light and dark color schemes with a switch in the header, and four style variations: Evening (dark), Clay, Birch and Gallery.
* Slow, calm motion that respects reduced-motion settings.

## Frequently Asked Questions

#### Where do form messages go?

Every form (contact, trade request, newsletter) stores its messages in wp-admin under Messages. The contact and trade forms also email them to the address in the Messages settings (the site admin email by default); newsletter sign-ups are only stored. To change the recipient of one form, select it in the editor and fill in "Send to".

#### How do I show lead times and dimensions?

Edit a product: the Product extras box has a shipping note (for example "Made to order: 6 weeks"), highlights and specification rows. Weight and dimensions from WooCommerce's Shipping tab are added to the dimensions sheet automatically.

#### How do I add a product or story video?

Edit the product or post and open the Featured video panel in the sidebar. Paste a YouTube or Vimeo link or choose a video file. Videos from YouTube and Vimeo load only when a visitor presses play.

#### Can I turn off the animations?

Visitors who ask their device for reduced motion see no animations and the background film stays still. To remove an animation from a block, open its Motion panel in the editor.

#### How does dark mode work?

The sun and moon button in the header switches between the light and dark schemes and remembers the choice. Without a choice, the site follows the visitor's system setting. The Evening style variation starts dark.
