## Description

Tallyho is a calm, data-forward theme for money writers: clean white and money green, a strict 12-column grid, thin ruled lines like an accounting ledger, oversized tabular numbers, square 1px cards and no shadows. The home page opens with a big, counting-up savings figure and bars that grow in; the latest entries are ledger rows with dates in the left column, and a sidebar lists courses, most-discussed posts and topics.

Built in, with no plugins needed:

* A "short answer" box (the post's key takeaways) at the top of every post, a prominent plain-spoken disclosure for affiliate and sponsored posts, a table of contents beside the article and a reading list ("save for later").
* A "Ledger" style for the Table block: zebra rows, tabular numbers and a sticky first column on phones. Block styles for note and warning callouts, framed images and ruled headings.
* Two schemes: Ledger (light) and After hours (dark), switched by the visitor or their system, plus style variations: After hours, Ink, Gold standard and Mint, each with its own second scheme.

## Frequently Asked Questions

#### Where do form messages go?

Every submission is stored under Messages in the dashboard and emailed to the site's admin address. Change the recipient under Messages → Settings, or per form in the form block's settings.

#### How do I use the Ledger table style?

Add a Table block and choose the "Ledger" style in the block's Styles panel. Numbers line up in tabular figures, and on phones the first column stays in view while the table scrolls sideways.

#### How do I add the short-answer box to a post?

Fill in the Takeaways field in the post editor (provided by the free Secure Custom Fields plugin, which the theme offers to install). The box appears at the top of the article.

#### How do I mark a post as containing affiliate links?

Use the Sponsored / disclosure field in the post editor. The post then shows a highlighted disclosure above the first paragraph and a badge in lists.

#### Can visitors switch between dark and light?

Yes, with the button in the header; the choice is remembered. Without a choice the site follows the visitor's system setting.

#### Does the theme load anything from other sites?

No. Fonts and images are bundled with the theme.
