Overview
An organic, soft multipurpose theme with blob shapes, wave dividers and earthy tones for yoga studios, cafes, retreats, nonprofits, garden centres and nutritionists.
Tidewell is a place, not a portfolio. Warm sand, moss and clay, Fraunces headlines with italic phrases, Mulish body text, photographs masked into flowing blobs, wave dividers between sections, pill buttons and very soft, borderless cards. It suits yoga and pilates studios, cafes and bakeries, wellness retreats, nonprofits and community groups, garden centres and nutritionists.
- Blob images and wave dividers: blob, pebble and halo image styles, wave edges for any colored group, and a floating pill header.
- Heroes: blob split, a cover with a sand card and a wave edge, a quote on moss, a featured class or programme, a "find a class" filter.
- Sections: weekly class schedule, blob image trio, values on blobs, impact numbers in circles, menu board, membership plans, testimonials on moss, a newsletter blob card, hours and map.
- Starter sites: Tidewell Yoga, Crumb & Kettle (cafe), River Commons (nonprofit), Fernhollow Retreats, Greenleaf Nursery and Rooted Nutrition.
- Four style variations (Night Garden, Ocean, Terracotta, Oat) and a light and dark scheme toggle, each with its own dark tones.
- Works with Secure Custom Fields for services, plans, team, testimonials, FAQs and business details. No page builder.
Questions
Where do form messages go?
Every message is stored under Messages in wp-admin and emailed to the site's admin address. Change the recipient under Messages → Settings, or per form in the block settings (Email to).
How do I set my phone number, address and opening hours?
Under Business → Business details. The header, footer, contact and hours sections read them from there.
How do I show a featured video on a story?
Open the post and use the Featured video panel in the sidebar: paste a YouTube or Vimeo link or choose a video file. The player loads only after a click.
Can I turn the animations off?
Visitors who ask their system for reduced motion see no animations. To remove one from a block, open the block's Motion panel.
How does dark mode work?
The moon button in the header switches between the light and dark schemes and remembers the choice. The Nocturne style variation makes the dark palette the default and hides the button.
