A structured, calm block theme for B2B platforms and enterprise software, with architecture diagrams, a Trust center and a demo request page.

== Description ==

Baseplate is a block theme for data platforms, finance, HR and operations suites and security vendors that sell to enterprises. Its design is structured and quiet: a calm blue-gray palette, sharp 4–6 px corners, hairline grids, dense but tidy layouts with sidebars, tables and tabs, and diagrams built from editable blocks.

Built in, with no plugins required:

* Architecture diagrams made of groups and connector lines (CSS only, readable on phones): a platform hero (sources, platform layers, destinations) and a deployment diagram (your people, control plane, data plane).
* Solutions by industry and team: industry cards plus the capability filter as a sidebar beside the matching features.
* An integrations directory with a category sidebar and instant search, and a wall of featured integrations.
* A comparison table with a sticky first column, plus the plan comparison and pricing with a monthly/yearly switch.
* A security and compliance center: live status, uptime, compliance badges, certifications and a list of security documents with their access level.
* Case studies with metrics, customer quotes with their headline result and results with sources.
* A "Book a demo" page with a request form (name, work email, company, role, phone, preferred date, interest, size, details), contact and newsletter forms. Messages are stored under Messages in wp-admin.
* Product features, integrations and a changelog with their own pages and archives, FAQ with structured data, a launch countdown and a waitlist.
* Six heroes (platform diagram, enterprise split, ROI with sources, security, case study, background video) and one showing the latest release.
* Light and dark color schemes with a switch in the header, and four style variations: Navy (dark), Graphite, Teal and Classic.
* Galleries (masonry and carousel) with a lightbox, video sections, reading progress, table of contents and share links on posts.

Structured content (plans, features, integrations, releases, testimonials) is stored with the free Secure Custom Fields plugin; the theme offers to install it.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Where do form messages go? =

Every form submission is stored under Messages in wp-admin. Emails go to the address in Messages → Settings, or to the site's admin email. A single form can send to its own address: select the form block and fill in "Send to". The newsletter forms only store messages; turn on email notification on the form block if you want emails.

= How do I change the "Book a demo" link? =

Go to Appearance → Product details and fill in "Book-a-demo link". Buttons across the theme use it.

= How do I edit the architecture diagrams? =

They are ordinary groups, paragraphs and icon blocks. Select a node to change its text or icon, duplicate it to add one, or remove it. The connector lines are drawn by the theme's CSS and follow the layout.

= How does the dark scheme work? =

Visitors switch with the button in the header; without a choice the site follows their system setting. Each style variation has a matching dark palette. The Navy variation opens in dark.

= Can I turn off the animations? =

Animations are subtle and switch off automatically for visitors who prefer reduced motion. Remove the motion classes in the block's Motion panel to turn them off for one block.

= How do I import the demo content? =

Appearance → Import demo creates the product features, integrations, releases, plans, testimonials, FAQs, pages and a menu. "Remove demo content" deletes them again.
