Quiet luxury for prestige agencies and private offices: espresso dark, Bodoni display type, champagne hairlines, full-bleed photography.

== Description ==

Belvedere is made for agencies that handle fewer, finer houses: estates, villas, penthouses and the "private office" brokers who sell them. It opens dark and editorial (espresso black, ivory Bodoni set very large, Jost capitals with wide tracking, 1px gold rules, square corners and no shadows) and moves slowly: clip reveals, long fades, a gentle parallax.

* **Discretion built in**: "price on request" shown as an elegant italic line, hidden addresses with an approximate map, private viewing requests instead of a "book now" button, a dossier download as a ghost gold button and advisers "by appointment only" with a gold monogram.
* **Properties and advisers** with prices, rooms, areas, energy rating, a full-bleed gallery carousel, floor plans, film, 3D tours, maps, brochures and the listing adviser.
* **Search** on a slim gold-ruled bar (location, type, price), on the archive and its location, type, status and feature pages, with sorting and filter chips.
* **Designed templates**: residence (centred title, full-bleed carousel, key figures in Bodoni, particulars, appointments, plans, setting, financing, a sticky panel with the adviser and the viewing request, similar residences), the collection and its taxonomies, adviser pages, the advisers, the journal, search, 404 and a dossier page with the title over a full-bleed photograph.
* **Forms without plugins**: private viewing, seasonal booking, contact, valuation and newsletter forms, stored under Messages with spam protection.
* **About 40 patterns**: five heroes (a film of the house with a slim search, a huge serif address with "Price on request", the collection carousel numbered 01/02/03, a "Belvedere Journal" magazine cover, destinations), the numbered collection, spotlight, destinations, the discreet sale, figures, testimonials, a press line, financing, valuation, contact, a viewing request over a photograph, FAQ, galleries, film, newsletter, footers and complete Home, About, Selling privately, Contact and Journal cover pages.
* **Dark and ivory**: an ivory light scheme with a switch in the header, and four style variations: Ivory (light), Onyx (true black and platinum), Riviera (navy and sand gold) and Emerald (deep green and brass), each with its own daylight palette.
* **Demo site**: Appearance → Import demo adds residences around Lisbon, three advisers, the menu and a designed home page.

Belvedere uses the free Secure Custom Fields plugin for the property and adviser fields (the theme offers to install it). Pages still render without it.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Where do viewing requests go? =

To the listing adviser (the Email field of the agent), or to Properties → Settings → Inquiry email for listings without one. Every message is also kept under Messages in the dashboard. Contact, valuation and newsletter forms go to the addresses under Messages → Settings, or to the site's admin email.

= How do I hide a price or an address? =

Leave the price empty (or write your own text in "Price text") and the listing shows "Price on request". Tick "Hide address" and only the area and an approximate map are shown.

= Where are the office phone, email and address set? =

Under Properties → Settings. The header, footer and contact sections read them from there; a detail left empty is not shown.

= Can visitors switch to the light scheme? =

Yes, with the sun and moon button in the header. The Ivory style variation is light for everyone.

= Does the theme load anything from other sites? =

No. Fonts, images and the film are bundled. Maps load from OpenStreetMap and 3D tours from their provider only after a visitor clicks to open them.

= Animations? =

Headings wipe in, sections fade in slowly and photos move gently as the page scrolls. Visitors who ask their system for reduced motion see everything still, and background films show their poster with a play button.
