A crisp, information-dense job board theme: jobs as scannable rows with the salary up front, a sticky filter sidebar, job specs with an apply card, and a night-shift dark mode.

== Description ==

Hirewise turns WordPress into a job board for local and niche markets: hospitality, tech, creative or remote-first boards, recruiters and chambers of commerce. It looks like a clean product, not a brochure: 1px borders, 8px corners, no shadows, Schibsted Grotesk headings, IBM Plex Sans text and IBM Plex Mono for salaries and dates.

What is built in, with no plugins needed:

* Jobs with salary ranges, employment type, work mode, experience level, deadline, perks, office photos and an office map (the Symelo directory foundation).
* A job board with a sticky filter sidebar (keyword, field, city, sort, perks, verified employers, salary range), active filter chips and pagination. Listing queries show jobs only.
* Job rows with a company monogram tile, "New", "Closes in 3 days" and "Closed" flags, built by the theme's "Job Company" block.
* A job spec page: key facts grid, sticky apply card with the salary and a salary transparency badge, perks, map, share buttons, the application form and similar jobs. After the deadline it shows "Applications closed" and hides the apply button.
* Forms without plugins: job applications, post a job, job alerts, hiring call request and contact. Messages are stored in wp-admin under Messages.
* 35 patterns: six heroes (search with counters, work-mode switch, featured employer, background video, closing soon), fields, cities, employers, featured and newest jobs, pricing, stats, testimonials, FAQ, galleries with a lightbox, video, and full pages (Home, About, Contact, Employers, Post a job).
* Light and dark color schemes with a toggle, and four style variations: Night shift, Paper, Terminal and Pastel.
* A demo set (Appearance → Import demo): 12 jobs at six companies, fields, cities, perks, employer pages and a menu.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Where do applications and form messages go? =

Every form stores its messages in wp-admin under Messages and emails them to the site's admin email address. Job applications are also emailed to the address in the job's "Inquiry email" field. Change the recipients under Messages → Settings.

= How do I add a job? =

Install the free Secure Custom Fields plugin (the theme offers a one-click button), then go to Jobs → Add New. The fields for salary, work mode, deadline and the rest are under "Listing details". Without the plugin, existing jobs still show; the plugin is the editing screen.

= How do I show a video on a job? =

Use the "Featured video" panel in the job's sidebar. Background videos in heroes have a pause button and start paused for visitors who prefer reduced motion.

= Can I turn off the animations? =

Animations are minimal and respect the "reduce motion" setting of the visitor's device. You can remove a block's motion class in its Advanced panel.

= How does dark mode work? =

The theme follows the visitor's system setting, and the toggle in the header lets them switch. The choice is remembered.
