Happenly

Happenly is a block theme for city what's-on guides, venue networks, festival programmes and community calendars. It is dark by default (midnight ground, signal coral, electric blue and sun yellow) with a Daytime scheme one click away, and it behaves like a wall of posters: oversized Epilogue type, big date blocks, sticker tags and scroll-snap rails.

Built in, with no plugins:

• Events and venues with typed details: category, area, tags (free, family friendly, outdoor, accessible), start and end dates, price, ticket button, address and map (loaded only after a click), galleries and a live "Ended" state.
• Search and filters: category, area, tags, price and sort orders, soonest first by default so past events sink.
• A weekend hero with the next Friday to Sunday, a day strip, a date ticker, a poster grid, a featured event with its date block, a venue spotlight and a hero with a background video and a pause button.
• A designed event page: big date block, photo mosaic with lightbox, ticket card, where and when facts, map and organiser form.
• Category and area pages with a banner and icon.
• About 30 patterns: heroes, rails, lists, galleries (masonry and carousel), forms (contact, newsletter), FAQ, stats, testimonials, footers and full pages.
• Forms with a Messages screen, motion classes, galleries and lightbox, featured video, light and dark schemes (the Symelo Theme Kit).
• Three style variations: Daytime, Festival and Jazz club.

The event details are edited with the free Secure Custom Fields plugin; the theme offers to install it. Listings already show before it is installed.
