Overview
A playful, organic block theme for mobile app download pages: phones everywhere, soft blobs, floating chips, reviews and in-app subscription pricing.
Tapwell is made for app makers: habit, fitness, budgeting, notes and travel apps that need a download page people enjoy. Big rounded Fredoka headlines, soft pastel blobs, chips that float around a phone and generous whitespace give it a friendly, calm personality, in light and dark.
Built in, with no plugins needed (Secure Custom Fields is recommended for editing prices, features and reviews):
- App heroes: a phone with feature chips orbiting it, a split hero with store badges and star rating, a "scan to download" card, three fanned phones, a video background with a phone on top, and the latest release.
- App store badges, a sticky download bar on phones, a swipeable carousel of app screens in phone frames, "features around the phone", a review wall with big stars, award stickers and app stats.
- Subscription pricing with a monthly/yearly switch ("Save 40%"), a plan comparison table, FAQ with structured data, features, integrations ("Works with") and a changelog ("What's new") with their own pages, filters and search.
- Forms without plugins: support, newsletter and beta tester signup (messages are stored under Messages in the dashboard).
- Galleries (Masonry and Carousel styles with a lightbox), video sections, blog layouts, a friendly 404 and full-page patterns: Home, App download, Support, Press kit and Beta program.
- Light and dark color schemes with a switch in the header, four style variations (Mint, Bubblegum, Sunrise, Night) and gentle, bouncy animations that respect "reduce motion".
Questions
Where do form messages go?
Every form stores its messages under Messages in the dashboard. The forms in the patterns don't send email by default; turn on "Send email" in the form block's settings and set the recipient there (empty uses the Messages settings, then the site admin email).
How do I set my app store links, rating and product name?
Go to Appearance → Product details. The badges, ratings, sign-up links and launch date in every pattern read from there.
How do I change the prices?
Prices, plan features and the comparison table come from Pricing plans in the dashboard (custom fields). The yearly price is the price per month when billed yearly; the switch shows "Save 40%" from the Pricing block's settings.
Can posts have a featured video?
Yes. In the post's sidebar, add a YouTube, Vimeo or video file URL under Featured video. It replaces the featured image on the post page.
How do I turn off the animations?
Remove the motion classes from a block (Advanced → Additional CSS class), or rely on the visitor's "reduce motion" setting, which turns them all off.
Is there a dark mode?
Yes. Visitors can switch with the button in the header; it follows their system setting until they choose. The Night style variation is dark for everyone.
